Important COVID-19 Update
Learn how we’re responding, and how you can help!
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tallahassee is monitoring the fast-changing facts and information regarding COVID-19. With the guidance of the CDC and multiple health agencies, we have developed our Preparedness & Response Plan.
Our goal is to provide a safe and healthy living environment for families who are far away from home and caring for a child with a severe illness. Since many of these hospitalized children already have compromised immune systems, we want to minimize the chance of infection while also supporting our healthcare professionals who are on the front lines of battling disease.
From now until further notice, RMHC of Tallahassee will proceed with the following plan to ensure the health and safety of our House:
- We are not able to accept any new families during this time.
- All volunteer activity is suspended, including:
- All House volunteers
- Individual Volunteers
- Group Volunteers
- Family Activities
- Meal of the Month
- Visitors will not be permitted in the House
In this confusing and tough time, we need your help desperately! Without the help of our local events and “Meal of the Month” volunteers, we ask for you to please consider making an Online Donation or mailing in a gift card to Publix or Costco, to the Ronald McDonald House of Tallahassee at 712 E. 7th Avenue Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Thank you for making a difference!
At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tallahassee, Inc., it is our mission to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families.
The Tallahassee Ronald McDonald House opened its doors 30 years ago as a home away from home where families stay while their children undergo extensive medical treatment. Today, the House is able to serve 8 families every single night.
