On Friday, November 3, 2017 Ronald McDonald House Charities will host the 19th Annual Stone Crab Fest, their signature fundraiser for the program services provided to pediatric patients and their families at the Tallahassee Ronald McDonald House. The highlight of the evening is the main entrée of Stone Crab claws from our own Florida waters, piled high in the ice filled boats asthe main attraction. The sight of almost 1000 pounds of claws on a moonlit fall evening is spectacular.
Traditionally, over 600 guests are eager to support one of Tallahassee’s most respected local charities at this enjoyable event. It features seated dinner which is accompanied by musical entertainment, silent and live auctions on Eagle Hill at Dover Farm.
Since 2011 the Stone Crab Fest has raised over $772,000 net to benefit children in medical crises at the Tallahassee Ronald McDonald House. The Stone Crab Fest is always a sold out evening and is one of the most popular fall events in Florida’s Capital City. Your financial support of the Stone Crab Fest helps to ensure that no family will be turned away from “The House That Love Built…” due to the inability to donate for their stay. Over 6,500 families have already come to our front door and found comfort and care.
