April 23-26, 2013 – Emerald Coast Golf Tour
Capital City Pro Am Classic
at the Capital City Country Club. This will be a 54 hole event for professionals and there will be a Pro Am on Thursday the 25th. This will give local amateurs a chance to play with the future PGA stars of the future. The ECGT tour has over 20 PGA tour winners who have competed on this tour. Joe Durant, Boo Weekley, Brian Gay, Heath Slocum, and last year’s Masters winner Bubba Watson. Also other former Florida State alumni such as Kenny Knox and George McNeil have played events on the tour. The tournament will be right behind the Web.com qualifier in Thomasville, GA and should attract some talented golfers from all over the country.
This year’s event will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Tallahassee. They are truly a wonderful organization and help a lot of families. This is the official charity for the Emerald Coast Tour. In addition to helping the RMH the tour is putting on a free junior clinic for local kids at the Capital City Country Club driving range. PGA pros will give free instruction for the kids and provide them with drinks and snacks after the clinic.
We would welcome the opportunity to have your business involved with this charity Pro Am event. Please invite some of your customers to come play with the pros in the Pro Am. We will be conducting a charity auction at Capital City following the Pro Am on Thursday the 25th.
We look forward to having you participate in this event in the great community of Tallahassee.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me at 850-217-3412 or Dale Brown at Capital City Country Club 224-1815 or Kathy Anderson at Ronald McDonald House 222-0056 X 23.
October 26, 2012 14th Annual Stone Crab Fest
On Friday, October 26, 2012, Ronald McDonald House of Tallahassee will host the 14th Annual Stone Crab Fest at Eagle Hill, WC Dover Farm. This will be a spectacular evening of all-you-can-eat stone crab claws, including a silent auction and live entertainment. Most importantly, this event will help raise the much-needed funds to operate “The House that Love Built…” The mission of Ronald McDonald House is to provide “comfort and care” for children in medical crisis and their families at our home-away-from-home. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, the Ronald McDonald House offers families a refuge from the hospital – a room of their own with a comfortable bed, kitchen, laundry facilities, and a playroom filled with toys for kids. Families who stay at our House find other families with the same concerns, and staff and volunteers who listen and care. You can help the Ronald McDonald House by donating an item for the Silent Auction. Just return the completed form below. If you have questions, call the RMH office at 850-222-0056 or Joan Stout, Auction Chair, at 850-544-0976. Thank you in advance for caring and sharing with our children!
